In the last 19 years the influence of the internet became bigger and bigger. Also in our graff community. Nowadays you can paint somewhere in the forest or in an abandoned building and still get seen by thousands of people. Or you can post nothing, go out and hit the streets and be talk of town. Every town. For 19 years.That´s exactly what the RADICALS CREW is about. Graffiti in its purest form. Styles and Vandalism.

Founded in 2005 the RADICALS never stopped and after there first video release in 2011 and the second movie in 2017 they decided to make it a triology and lately released RADICALS 3. We went to the release party on 10/31/2024.The Event took place in the concert Hall of the Werk2, next to the Betterrun Mad Flava Store and the official Hall of Fame. So the whole area is really graffiti heavy and we were prepared for a big meet up, but we couldn´t believe what we saw. More than 1200 people made it to the event to watch a hardcore graffiti movie. A few hundred people didn´t even fit into the venue anymore. Leipzig is one of the most painted cities we know about but seeing that many graffiti interested heads at one place was just stunning. Everybody was hyped and the vibe was awesome. The Film started and what should we say. It´s a must see.

As in the previous parts, it´s filled with a lot of TV scenes from the news and some documentaries about rough life in germany. As before those scenes come in an amusing manner. But besides that we watched 7 years of hardcore graffiti compromised to 81minutes. Big sized full color streetgraffs, train actions, wholecars and wholetrains, tunnel and secret spots, backjumps and well organzied group actions and a lot of fast cut filmsections. The movie follows no straight structure but the scenes are cleary separated. This way it brings a really hardcore vibe and you never know whats next. You could feel that on the release party too, 1000 people where stunned every second of the film. Clear newschool drone shots followed by dizzy night actions, next to a hundreds of short cuts,combined with TV skits and much more. It doesnt feel like one certain film, it really dlivers the vibe from the past 7 years of RADICALS crew life.

The Movie ended and the Release party too, we went to the aftershow and had a lot of drinks. But as you know, what happens at the aftershow stays at the aftershow. We highly recommend to buy the Movie. It comes as a RADICALS Logo shaped USB stick and includes the whole triology. So you have the complete History from 2005-2024 on one Stick.
