What does writing/graffiti mean to you? What part of your life does graffiti take up?
For me, graffiti is a personal creative expression of style and alter ego. I believe in foundation: Starting with good handstyle and originality, and then pushing boundaries with style while maintaining traditional letter forms. I would say my entire life as an artist is influenced by graffiti culture.

Tell us something about your home city: How about the graffiti scene, the architecture, the police and the possibilities to paint?
Toronto has a healthy graffiti scene with lots of bombing and piecing coming from multiple generations of writers. I always loved Toronto's downtown alleys, and the many rivers that give us plenty of large walls under bridges to paint. I'd say Toronto is much like any big city with police and the cat and mouse mentality.

Is your personal style influenced by the city? Is there a special style your city stands for?
I was definitely influenced by older Toronto writers in my early years and my crew was very experimental trying new stuff all the time, but everything was rooted in proper letter structure and hand style. As for a special style out of Toronto I’d say all the top writers have good handstyle and are creative and funky with their letters. Toronto Bombers go hard with nice throws and blockbusters.

What is your point of view on the local writer scene? What communities are you gathering with?
I like watching the younger generation crushing the streets with a healthy mix of Style Writers and Vandals. Graffiti writers are my community. I hang with my long time friends, younger writers and artists and support the community however I can.

You´re well known for your creative compositions. What are your inspirational sources and what do you want to express in your art?
My influences vary and I am still growing and learning. Sometimes I feel like my art is all over the place with subject matter and I just like painting certain things because I just want to have fun. I really don’t have one message or statement with my work. I think I want to go back to things I thought were cool when I was a teenager….
A personal shout out or famous last words?
Big Shout out to all my friends, crews and people that have supported me in my life. You know who you are.
